Came across the actor Michael Cera on youtube. Very funny, he’s got a few videos on there. I liked The Impossible is the Opposite of Possible, it’s a spoof of a job application by a Yale graduate with a supersized ego that was a video a while back. My favourite though is Knocked up Audition because it spoofs David O Russell’s legendary tantrum on the film set of I Heart Huckabees. That is one of my favourite movies, even though most people hate it and I was beyond shocked when I first saw the video of him swearing and yelling at the great Lily Tomlin. Mind you, Lily Tomlin did seem to be complaining and swearing a lot in the lead up so who knows who’s to blame. What made me smile was poor Dustin Hoffman pacing about behind them, trying to fade into the wall! It was like Russell just totally snapped like a twig, knocking over papers and lamps, storming off and coming back again through a door in the set. The spoof is good but the original is so bizarre anyway.
